Enchanted Children’s Afternoon Tea ☕📖 – Celebrate Our New Book Release with Us!

On June 8, 2026, Kings International Schools in Bratislava, Slovakia, hosted a very special book launch event presented by Altenburg Press. “Children’s Afternoon Tea” welcomed students from elementary through high school, drawing an impressive crowd of nearly 160 teachers and students.

Over tea and treats, the publisher gave a fascinating talk, bringing the island of Formosa (Taiwan) to life for the young audience. She highlighted the area's cultural gems and proudly presented a collection of Taiwanese children's books now available in Slovak. Ms. Gabriela Burdova, the school's Slovak department head, then teamed up with the students to read from the brand-new Slovak and German editions of two beloved Taiwanese picture books – "The Butterfly and the Princess" and "Tea."
